Body Trainer's sport-specific conditioning program entails a variety of flexibility, strength, power, speed and cardiovascular techniques in order to maximize your sports performance and minimize risk of injury. Coaching – It is important to note that sport specific athletic training does not in any way replace coaching. Athletes use sport specific training to improve on their individual sill level and performance. It does not replace or undermine coaching. This training helps the athlete and the coach develop a targeted goal to track the progress of the athlete.
Performance – Sport specific training will be provided to improve the athletes overall performance. Assessments will be conducted to test the athlete’s body mechanics, skill level, range of motion and natural athletic ability. Based on their goals and a thorough individual assessment a program will be developed to improve not only their skill level but overall performance.
Injury – Sports training is an asset to any athlete. Training can be used as a tool to not only strengthen muscles, functionality and flexibility to prevent injury. Training can also be used to assist athletes recovering from a previous sports injury and strengthen their muscles in some cases. With the proper training, tools and support most athletic injuries can be prevented.
